Mount Fuji is one of Japan's most recognizable symbols, and it was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 2013. To commemorate this 10 year anniversary, the Yamatane Museum of Art is hosting an exhibition dedicated to works depicting the mountain, with historical pieces on display from the likes of Hokusai and Hiroshige.
Alongside the collection of Mount Fuji inspired items, the event will also showcase artworks depicting one of Japan's other icons – cherry blossoms.
Admission to the exhibition is priced at ¥1300.

GETTING THERE
The Yamatane Museum of Art is located approximately 10 minutes on foot from Ebisu Station, served by the JR Yamanote, Shonan Shinjuku and Saikyo Lines, and the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line.
Alternatively, a bus is available to the museum from Shibuya Station's East Exit. Take the Toei Bus (Metropolitan Bus) "Gaku 03", bound for the Nisseki Medical Center. Alight at the Higashi 4-chome stop, and the museum is just two minutes on foot rom there.
