The Japan Meteorological Cooperation has released its first cherry blossom forecast for 2023.
Due to warmer temperatures in the country this winter, flowering is expected to be up to one day earlier in Tokyo, later than normal in Eastern Japan, normal to earlier in Northern Japan, and average or earlier in Western Japan.
Here are the predicted first blooming dates for those looking to see the sakura in Japan this spring though the forecast may change in the upcoming weeks.
