If you are a dinosaur enthusiast, mark your calendars for “Dino Safari 2025,” a popular annual spectacle during Japan’s Golden Week. This year’s Safari will be held April 25 to May 6 in Shibuya.
Through this powerful hands-on 45-minute live show, you and 100 other spectators in the hall can enjoy an exciting and heart-warming show by dozens of dinosaurs (performers in mechanical suits).
Precisely recreated large dinosaurs moving around in the hall in front of you will transport you some 66 million years back to the Jurassic Period.
Enjoy an up-close view of Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus and Pechycephalosaurus while the safari guides and rangers introduce the stars and explain what they ate, how they moved or how they evolved. Among the stars, a 13-meter-tall Brachiosaurus!
Tickets are now on sale and available here.
As spring ripens in warm temperatures during the Golden Week holiday, let’s grab a Jurassic ticket and head out on an expedition to see dinosaurs in Tokyo!
