In the heart of metropolitan Tokyo you’ll find Hibiya, Yurakucho and Marunouchi district known for their many venues to enjoy film and performing arts. This dedication to the craft has earned the area the nickname “Hibiya Broadway” among locals.

The district is comprised of many modern buildings and vintage shops combined with many movie houses including Toho Cinemas, Toei, Shochiku and Warner Bros. Don’t miss the Shin Godzilla statue at the center of Godzilla Square in Hibiya.

Nearby, the Tokyo International Forum, a large, 11-story skyscraper has eight halls and 33 conference rooms offering various music and performing arts events throughout the year. “La Folle Journee Tokyo” music festival is offered right here during Golden Week holidays in late April to early May attracting thousands of classical music enthusiasts every year.

Nearby, Tokyo Station with its impressive 110-year-old red brick architecture is one of Japan’s busiest. No less than 3,000 commuter trains and bullet trains combined stop here daily, The basement of the station is also home to a large shopping and dining center called “Tokyoeki Ichibangai.” Grab a bite, buy some souvenirs and check out the Tokyo Character Street in the Tokyoeki Ichibangai.
