From Aug. 8-14, Yokohama’s Minatomirai District will belong to the world of Pokemon!
The Pokemon Company is hosting many fun events to promote Japan’s first Pokemon Battle Tournament at the Pacifico Yokohama venue slated for Aug. 11-13.
Visitors can enjoy live shows, displays and fun activities at Rinko Park and the Red Brick Warehouse featuring Pokemon favorites like Pikachu, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and more. Don’t miss the Pokemon Natsumatsuri summer festival at Rinko Park, featuring plenty of game booths and traditional Bon Odori dances with characters.
Other highlights of the week-long event include the Pokemon Trainer Cruise aboard the Cruiser Nippon-maru on Aug. 13 and a Pokemon Parade along Keyaki Street on Aug. 14.
Admission is free, but advanced an reservation is required. So, make sure to register soon and get ready to catch ‘em all!
