Misawa American Day, one of the three largest and most popular cross-cultural events in Misawa, along with Misawa Festival and Tanabata Matsuri, finally returned on June 25.
After a three-year postponement, the crowds enjoyed the parade, displays, performances and lots of food in Misawa’s city center.
The annual event has been celebrated since 1989 to commemorate the relationship between the local and U.S. military community in Misawa.
