Re-explore 70 Years of Godzilla’s Evolution and how the kaiju has transformed across the decades in Japan. Experience the King of Kaiju reimagined through the lens of a variety of expressive art pieces. Discover via national and global artisan’s contemporary interpretations of what the king means and signifies to the masses and beyond only at Godzilla THE Art Exhibition.

From the beginning, Godzilla, founded by Toho Studios’ team of Special Effects director, Eiji Tsuburaya, producer Tomoyuki Tanaka and director Ishiro Honda the King of Monsters stumbled affectionately into the heart, soul and pallet of cinema enthusiast across the globe. In an online interview Takeshi Yoro, the general producer of the exhibition, mentioned, “Godzilla’s enduring power lies in its ability to adapt, reflecting the mood and atmosphere of each era. The exhibition’s goal is to capture this transformation, allowing each artist to present their own version of Godzilla.”

In addition, top it all off high above Tokyo with Godzilla-themed fare at the Sun & Moon café and restaurant with spectacular views of the city below. From the destructive art meets special effects entrance portal to the final stage mass media photo zone with adjoining platform accompanied by dystopian lights and explosive theme music, there is much to tantalize at the Godzilla THE Art Exhibition commanding some to visit more than once and re-examine what the king metaphorically and personally means to them.
