Following on from successful stints in Kyoto and Tokyo, the Sanrio 60th Anniversary Exhibition is making its way to the Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art from early February to early April. The event will trace the history of Sanrio from its founding until the present day via various character products, original drawings, and plenty more. Through the items on display, attendees can learn about the company's development and the formation of Japan's kawaii culture that prevails to this day.

Adult admission to the exhibition is priced at ¥1600.

GETTING THERE

The Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art is located just five minutes on foot from Nishi Juhatchome Station on the Tozai Line - the closest exit is Exit 4.

For those who opt to drive, please note that there is no on-site parking lot. Museum patrons are advised to park at the Big Shine 88 lot which is 5 minutes away on foot.
