Atmosphere of "Sano Miso
A short walk from Ginza 1-chome, you will see Sano Miso Ginza Store. Inside the store, 40 different kinds of miso are lined up, and I was able to see miso that I would not normally be able to see. Miso is sold by weight, with the minimum quantity starting at 300g. We also have a large selection of other miso related products.

The prices are very reasonable, so please take advantage of this service when you visit us.
Miso Workshop for Foreigners
In the workshop, you can learn the basics of miso and its production process. Participants were able to deepen their understanding of miso while enjoying quizzes. In the practical session, participants compared miso, made miso dressing, and miso soup.
Compare Miso Flavors
We compared five different kinds of miso. Participants were able to experience the diversity of miso types and flavors. The miso card shows not only the origin of the miso, but also "sweetness/saltyness" and "intensity of flavor," so by comparing five different kinds of miso, you are sure to find the one you like best.
Make miso dressing
We made miso dressing and served it over salads and cucumbers. You can make your own miso dressing using your favorite miso. It is easy to make and easy to practice at home.
making miso soup
Miso is often associated with miso soup. You could choose from fish broth, vegetable broth, and wakame seaweed toppings to your liking. The taste of miso doubled when combined with dashi. I think miso and dashi are the best combination. I highly recommend that you try it when you visit Japan.
A visit to Sano Miso will surely make you fall in love with miso. It will also expand your enjoyment of Japanese food. We hope you will join our workshops and enjoy miso when you visit Japan.
