MISAWA AB – Airmen and families at Misawa AB have a new place to grab a slice of home with the opening of Hunt Brothers Pizza in the Misawa Express.

Joining Misawa AB Exchange General Manager Sha Carter for a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 10 were 35th MSG Deputy Director Patricia Maakestad, Hunt Brothers Pizza AAFES Regional Manager Andres Guitierrez, Hunt Brothers Pizza Support Matt McEwing and Express Manager Corey Sykes.

“The Misawa Exchange is excited to bring Hunt Brothers on base and provide another dining option for Airmen and their families,” said Sha Carter, Misawa Exchange general manager. “With its wide-ranging menu including pizza, wings and even breakfast, Hunt Brothers is the perfect addition for military families on the go.”

Anyone can dine at Hunt Brothers Pizza and all Exchange restaurants, including civilians and visitors. Dining at Exchange restaurants and shopping Exchange stores help makes the military community stronger. 100% of Exchange earnings are reinvested in the military community through support for on-base Quality-of-Life programs and capital improvements, like the addition of Hunt Brothers Pizza.
