Spouses from Yokota depart a UH-1N Huey assigned to the 459th Airlift Squadron after an orientation flight at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Nov. 19, 2024. YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- The 459th Airlift Squadron and 36th Airlift Squadron hosted orientation flights for spouses to practice emergency evacuation procedures at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Nov. 19, 2024.
Spouses were given the opportunity to practice emergency evacuation plan procedures and fly in either a UH-1N Huey, C-12J Huron or C-130 to simulate the evacuation flight.
