Yokota Exchange to recognize America’s heroes with coins on Veterans Day
Army & Air Force Exchange Service Public Affairs November 3, 2023
Yokota Air Base – In honor of Veterans Day, the Yokota Exchange will be handing out free challenge coins to those who selflessly served our Nation.
For the fourth year in a row, the Exchange will distribute limited-edition challenge coins to Veterans on Nov. 11.
“The Yokota Exchange is grateful to those who raised their right hand and took the oath to serve their country,” said Yokota Exchange General Manager Andrew Defelice. “The Exchange is honored to celebrate the selfless service of all of our Nation’s Veterans who served with distinction.”
The coins, which feature an eagle on one side and the emblems of all six military branches on the other, are available while supplies last. Veterans are encouraged to contact the Exchange or visit the Yokota Exchange Facebook page for more information.
Since 2020, military resale— Army & Air Force Exchange Service; the Navy Exchange Service Command; Marine Corps Exchange; and the Coast Guard Exchange—have joined together to salute Veterans through the collectible challenge coin giveaway.
All honorably discharged Veterans can shop tax-free for life at the website and all disabled Veterans can use their hard-earned Exchange benefit in person at PXs and BXs. Veterans can visit here for more information on their earned lifelong Exchange benefits.
