Maj. Shane Gregory, chief of activity, Army Field Support Battalion-Northeast Asia (Forward), Sagami General Depot, Japan, describes Army Prepositioned Stocks-4 petroleum distribution capabilities to participants attending the 4th Annual U.S. Army Pacific Airborne Summit held June 6-9, 2022.
Attendees included parachute rigger warrant officers and logistics managers from the 403rd Army Field Support Brigade, AFSBn-NEA, Logistics Readiness Center-Okinawa, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, U.S. Army Japan, 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, U.S Army Alaska, 10th Support Group, U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, and the Fort Lee Quartermaster Center and School. Summit topics included the Care of Supplies In Storage (COSIS) for aerial delivery equipment, shipping, and management readiness presented by the Theater Aerial Delivery Company (Airborne) - the 4th Quartermaster Company from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. APS-4 is preparing for the fiscal year 2023 fielding of the Joint Precision Autonomous Delivery System.
The effort will include facility upgrades and new parachute rigger requirements to support the warfighter in the Pacific Theater and beyond.
