Kumagaya City, north of Tokyo, is home to some of this year’s Rugby World Cup games. Near the stadium, Shodenzan Temple, known as a national treasure, is a point of interest worth making a stop at. In Gyoda City, the next city over, check out the world’s largest rice paddy art, currently featuring popular players of Japanese National Rugby Team. Make sure to go up to the 50-meter-high observatory deck for a bird’s eye view of the rice paddy art.
