Feel like a giant at the Tobu World Square attraction inside Kinugawa Onsen in Nikko City. This unique theme park is home to 102 miniature replicas of famous monuments and buildings from 21 countries including 48 UNESCO World Heritage sites.

The replicas at Tobu World Square are 1/25 of the original monuments you’d find in Paris, Egypt, India and more. The park is a great way to take a trip around the world without having to leave Japan and offers some great photo ops your whole family will enjoy.

Don’t forget to grab your “passport” at the entrance and collect stamps for every zone you visit. My wife, daughter and I enjoyed getting our travel stamps throughout the sprawling theme park.

The park is divided into six regional zones: modern and old Japan, America, Egypt, Europe and Asia. Our tour started in modern-day Japan with a visit to the mini–Diet Building, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Skytree and Narita Airport.

Within two hours, we completed our “trip” to the Great Pyramid in Egypt, the Taj Mahal in India, Rome’s Colosseum, Paris’ Eiffel Tower and the Great Wall of China. We’d completed our passport and a Tobu World Square employee gave us a postcard as a memento of our travels.

Our trip to Tobu World Square amongst the miniatures provided an enormous amount of fun and entertainment. Check it out next time you’re in Nikko!
