Now that the spookiest season is approaching, Mickey and Minnie at Tokyo Disney are dressing up for “Disney Halloween 2023.” If you’re planning to visit one or both Disney parks, be prepared for a little scare: Ticket prices will permanently increase beginning Oct. 1.
Earlier this year, Tokyo Disney Resort announced that junior high student to adult ticket prices would rise and prices would be sorted into six different categories. The price changes affect entry into both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
According to the resort, adult 1-day passports will cost between 7,900 to 10,900 yen (about $53 to $73) and junior passports (ages 12-17) will cost 6,600 to 9,000 yen (about $44 to $60). The prices for kids ages 4-11 will remain the same for the one-day passport (4,700 to 5,600 yen or $31 to $37).
To further add to the confusion, the price you pay will be determined based on the day you visit. In October, for instance, one-day adult tickets for Tuesday through Friday (Oct. 3-6 and Oct. 11-13) will cost 8,400 yen each. Saturdays in October and the day prior to the Japanese Sports Day holiday (Oct. 9) will mean an adult ticket will set you back 10,900 yen.
Check the Tokyo Disney resort website to see the price calendar and plan your trip to the happiest place on earth!
