(Osaka Comic Con 2025)
One of the major comic cons in Japan is coming back again for another great year of graphic art, film memorabilia exhibits and celebrity panels. Osaka Comic Con returns to Intex Osaka for three days starting May 2-4.
In addition to an artist alley featuring aspiring and established manga artists, cosplay meetups and live performances, Hollywood celebrity appearances are also expected at the event. Although not yet announced, guests to the comic con in previous years included “Aquaman” lead Jason Momoa, “Walking Dead” actor Norman Reedus, Marvel actor Tom Hiddleston and plenty of other big names.
Since its launch in 2023, the Osaka Comic Con has been growing to meet the success of Tokyo Comic Con, which started in 2016. Since the Tokyo con takes place in December, hardcore cosplayers and comic fans visit both annual events.

Hours: May 2 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., May 3 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., May 4 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Location: Intex Osaka 1-5-102 Minami-Kohoku, Suminoe-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture
Tickets: 3-day pass 8,800 yen, one-day pass 4,400 yen; ages 15-17 1,000 yen and ages 14 or younger 500 yen.
