It’s time to enjoy Japan’s winter season with traditional hot pot dishes and premium sake.

Red Brick Warehouse in the scenic Yokohama waterfront is currently offering a unique fair called “Nabegoya (hot pot shack) 2024.

During the fair, 18 restaurants from northern mainland of Hokkaido to the southernmost island of Okinawa serve up local hot pot dishes, which can be paired with over 150 brands of premium sake. Visitors can enjoy the food and drink in a traditional setting, including a tatami floor and “kotatsu” foot heater, in a temporary tent in the Red Brick Warehouse square.

More than 200,000 people visit this popular winter fair every year, according to the event organizer. Head to Yokohama to enjoy Japan’s cold season with majestic landscapes, tasty local food and sake.
