Celebrate the spring season with some family-friendly fun at the Yokosuka Spring Festival on March 22.

Visitors can enjoy ship tours, static helicopter and firetruck displays, live music, food and vendor booths, games, entertainment and a variety of performances. The event is open to both on-base and local Japanese communities, so everyone can join in on the festivities.

Japanese guests must bring government-issued photo ID, like passport, My Number Card with photo, driver’s license or resident card with registered domicile. High school and middle school students must show their student I.D. or resident card with registered domicile. Elementary school-aged students and younger do not need to provide I.D. Non-Japanese guests must present a passport or resident card (Zairyu Card).

No parking for visitors is available on base. Prohibited items include glass bottles, canned alcohol and drones. Pets are not permitted.

  • Gate closures (inbound): Mikasa Park Gate at 3:30 p.m. / Womble Gate at 1 p.m.

*Off-base guests should use Womble Gate’s pedestrian access or Mikasa Gate.
