YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- From the left, U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Keshawn Carmen, 374th Security Forces Squadron base defense leader, and Senior Airman Eduardo Ortiz, 374th SFS counter small unmanned aircraft systems trainer, participate in the classroom portion of the Defender’s Qualification Course at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Jan. 30, 2025. A priority of the course is to instill confidence within 374 SFS Defenders so that they maintain the capability to employ weapons in offensive and defensive roles.
