Service Member of the Year: Tech. Sgt. Jessie D. Bustos, Yokota Air Base

Bustos performs duties at the 374th Logistics Readiness Squadron as the NCO in Charge of Training, Validation, and Operations at Yokota. She advises 120 Vehicle Control Officials, installation vehicle trainers and Ground Transportation on the best practices, mitigation steps and training updates to improve safe vehicle operation and training practices. Bustos joined the Air Force in November 2011 and throughout her career, has filled a myriad of roles including Vehicle Operator, Vehicle Dispatcher, Base Licensing Official, Unit Deployment Manager, Mission Support Group Enlisted Executive Officer and Ground Transportation Manager. Her assignments included bases in England, Oklahoma and currently Japan.
