The Ushikoi yakiniku brand is known as a lean meat (akami) specialist and currently operates across six Tokyo locations.

Starting April 2025, they have overhauled their menu for just the first time in three years, including 19 new items such lean shabu-shabu served with yuzu broth, as well as diced lean beef with Truffle sauce.

One of Ushikoi’s signature dishes, Peace Beef, is also seeing a price reduction to ¥800 (¥880 inc. tax) thanks to supply chain optimisations behind the scenes.

It’s a good example of what Ushikoi is known for — delivering high quality lean meat at unbeatable prices.

Peace Beef is meticulously hand-trimmed to remove excess fat, delivering a high-protein, low-fat cut that continues to be popular with Ushikoi’s repeat customers. Enjoy the seared beef with “Neginchu”—chopped green onions seasoned with spices.

The chain is proud to show photos/signatures of the main athletes and celebrities (GACKT) who have graced their stores, and Yuto Nagatomo—current FC Tokyo player in the J-League and former Japan national team player—was even appointed as an official ambassador in 2023 to endorse their signature Peace Beef dish.
