Venue: Asia-Pacific Trade Center

When: Jun 14th - Jun 15th 2025

The Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association is launching the first-ever Japan Sake and Shochu Fair this June, and the two-day event is a celebration of the country’s traditional alcoholic beverages.

This special event highlights sake, honkaku shochu, and awamori—crafts which have recently been recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of regional brews, speak directly with producers, and enjoy tastings and bottle sales of carefully selected offerings from across Japan.

In addition to sampling drinks, guests can take part in cultural exhibits, hands-on workshops, and enjoy food pairings at a dedicated eating area designed to showcase the harmony between traditional spirits and Japanese cuisine.

The fair is divided into four sessions: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Each session admits up to 2,500 people to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Admission is priced at 5,000 JPY per session, with a discounted rate of 2,000 JPY for students aged 20 to 25. Reservations are required and have been open on the official site since April. A small number of same-day tickets may be offered if capacity allows.

Getting there

The event takes place at the Asia-Pacific Trade Center, which can be accessed in just two minutes on foot from Trade Center Mae Station on the Nankō Port Town Line.
