Calling all Chiikawa fans and ramen lovers! The popular Chiikawa Ramen Buta is relocating, and reopening with a new setup at Ikebukuro PARCO starting from Saturday, May 31st, 2025. After the last day at their Shibuya PARCO location on May 6th, the ramen shop themed after Nagano’s popular Chiikawa characters is set to return, bigger and better than ever.
At the new Ikebukuro location, you can slurp down tasty ramen served in original Chiikawa bowls, with three size options:
Mini (Chiikawa) – 1540 JPY
Small (Hachiware) – 1760 JPY
Large (Usagi) – 1980 JPY

Each bowl comes with an adorable character-shaped fish cake, and every ramen order includes a special novelty sticker featuring your bowl’s character. And that’s not all—fans will be pleased to know that the limited-time cold Chinese noodles (with persimmon seeds as a topping), a hit last summer, are making a comeback. They will be available throughout the warmer months from May 31st to August 31st, 2025.
Pair your meal with character-themed drinks like the Flying Squirrel White Soda or Sea Otter Melon Soda—each drink order gets you a random collectible clear card as a bonus.
