MISAWA AB – Military kids of all ages can enjoy free games and activities each Saturday in April at the Misawa Exchange in celebration of Month of the Military Child.
From March 30 through May 4, military families can visit the BX from 1300 to 1400 each Saturday to participate in the complimentary events featuring products from popular toy brands: Play-Doh; Furby; Disney Princess; Hasbro Gaming; Marvel; and Star Wars.
Military children can:
• Create sculptures using Play-Doh March 30.
• Play with Furby Furblets and showcase creative skills with coloring sheets April 6.
• Participate in friendly competition with Monopoly Knockout, Piggy Piggy, Jenga and Atomix April 13.
• Use their imagination with Disney Princess dolls, coloring sheets and enjoy complimentary snacks and juice April 20.
• Channel their Spidey-senses with Spiderman toys and coloring sheets April 27.
• Become one with the force at the Star Wars event May 4.
“The Misawa Exchange is excited to celebrate military kids in stores with activities in honor of their service and sacrifice,” said Exchange General Manager Michickia Carter. “Month of the Military Child is a special time at the Exchange and store associates look forward to welcoming in America’s youngest heroes for some weekend fun.”
