Students from Matthew C. Perry High School and judges for a Food Pantry Cooking Competition hosted by M.C. Perry High School pose for a photo at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, May 7, 2024. The students of M.C. Perry High School were tasked with creating unique dishes with non-perishable items such as spam, canned black beans, and rice, which were provided by the Iwakuni Food Pantry, to show creative ways to make tasty dishes with common, shelf-stable ingredients.
