YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- U.S. Air Force Airmen and volunteers from the local community planted flowers along Yanagi-Dori Ave. near Fussa Station, during a beautification project in Fussa, Japan, May 13, 2025.

Fussa is one of the cities surrounding Yokota Air Base, and offers volunteer opportunities for beautification projects every spring and fall.

This project helps boost the charm of the local community while strengthening ties and friendship with the Japanese community.
