Yokosuka, Japan: October 18th, 2021 the Yokosuka Chiefs Spouses Association (YCSA) will hold its annual Chief Selectee Spouse Symposium at the Chapel of Hope.

YCSA is a non-profit organization formed in 2013. Their focus is to lead, mentor and inspire the spouses of U.S. Navy Chiefs. Since 2014, they have provided an annual symposium for the newly promoted Chiefs’ spouses.

The mission of the CPO Selectee Spouse Symposium is to provide information to the spouses in this time of excitement and change. Many spouses may not understand the changes and challenges ahead. YCSA created a day to collectively provide a unified support system to incoming CPO Selectee Spouses. Topics covered include pay changes, Spouse Leadership/Mentorship, and 'what does that mean for me.’ There will be breakout sessions for small groups, a Question & Answer forum and guest speakers. YCSA’s goal is to give incoming spouses a glimpse into what is ahead and a welcoming support system. CPO Selectee Spouses are encouraged to attend, registration is required.
