JAPAN

()

In mainland Japan, October is known as the month of koromogae, or seasonal change of clothing.

This month, we put away our summer clothes and take out our winter clothes. You might have seen Japanese students are already in their black or dark-blue winter uniform.

Today’s Japanese phrase is: "Koromogae no kisetsu desu." = It’s the time of seasonal change of clothing.

("koromogae" = seasonal change of clothing, "no" = of, "kisetsu" = season, "..desu" = it is..) Let’s change our wardrobe for upcoming cold season.

Stay safe and stay warm!
