Rainy season in the Kanto, Tokai, Yamanashi and Nagano regions is officially over, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency. Thought the scorching heat continues, visitors and locals can now look forward to clear skies and less precipitation in the forecast.

The end of the tsuyu rain season arrives just one day earlier than average and four days earlier than 2023, the agency said.

The brighter weather means that the temperatures are still high, so don’t forget to hydrate and use SPF when you’re out and about enjoying the sights.
