Exchange opens Janz Medical Supply Store at Yokota Air Base

YOKOTA AIR BASE – On Dec. 1, Yokota AB Exchange celebrated the grand opening of Janz Medical Supply, a durable medical equipment store, bringing support to Airmen and the local military community.
Shoppers can now purchase name-brand medical equipment such as CPAP supplies, breast pumps, nebulizers, ventilators, wheelchairs, walkers, orthopedic supplies and more. Janz also rents medical equipment for military shoppers who temporarily need the equipment.
374th Mission Support Group Commander Col. Patrick Launey, and 374th Medical Group Deputy Commander Col. Dane Campbell joined Yokota Exchange General Manager Julia Woods, Service Business Manager George De La Cruz and Janz Manager Lovie Green for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“I appreciate that the Exchange continues to bring in stores like Janz”, Launey said. “The store will bring immediate aid to our Airmen and the Yokota community who need medical equipment.”
Janz Medical Supply is a U.S. service-disabled veteran owned business located in Columbus, Ohio. Janz Corporation was founded in 1999 and opened its doors to their first store in 2019. In the past six months, Janz has opened their doors in Guam, Korea, Okinawa and mainland Japan.
Janz works with most insurance companies on behalf of service-members and veterans, including TRICARE. Credit cards, cash and the MILITARY STAR® card are accepted for non-insurance items.
“I was honored to participate in Janz’ grand opening because I know how much this store will help our community,” Campbell said. “With Janz’ expertise of working with the insurance companies, folks will be able to get the medical supplies they need.”
Janz Medical Supply store is located in building 1380 on the East side of the base and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
