Cadets were challenged throughout the week to grow lifelong skills with a focus on Physical Fitness, Servant Leadership, Integrity, Volunteerism, Excellence in all we do, and Respect.

“Encampment is where cadets start to realize what they’re capable of. Watching them rise to challenges, step into leadership roles, and grow in just a week—that’s what makes this experience powerful.” – Cadet Commander, C/Maj Redmond

Cadets woke up at 0500 every morning to start the day with Physical Training, rain or shine.

“One of the best parts of the week was seeing how quickly cadets from different backgrounds connected. Even though we came from all over — Japan, Korea, Hawaii, California, Guam, and even New Zealand — we were able to build a unified team in just a few days. That really shows the power of the Civil Air Patrol.” – Cadet Commander, C/Maj Redmond

Far East Encampment 2025 culminated with a graduation ceremony, with each cadet receiving a certificate of graduation (needed to be a Cadet Officer) and other certificates for outstanding performance among the cadets. The ceremony was MC’ed by the Misawa Cadet Squadron Commander - Lt. Hasan Qureshi, including inspiring words from the guest speaker - Lt Col Daniel Blomberg the 35th Civil Engineering Squadron Commander, and was closed by the Encampment Cadet Commander - C/Major Cayne Redmond, stating those final words.

“...carry this forward. Carry the pride. The focus. The standard. And let this be the week your story changed. Because fear fades. Strength is built. And excellence—it’s not a one-time act. It’s a habit.” – Cadet Commander, C/Maj Redmond
