VIDEO| Speakin’ Japanese lesson: Hunting for autumn colors

As autumn continues, the trees have turned their green leaves into gorgeous autumn colors. My wife and I came to a popular autumn leave site Miyagase Park near NAF Atsugi to hunt for autumn colors.

So, today’s Japanese phrase is: “Momijigarini kimashita” = I came here to hunt for autumn colors.

("momiji" = autumn leaves, "momijigari= autumn leaves hunting, "..ni kimashita" = came here to ..)

You’ll probably come across other autumn color hunters so greet them with this phrase while keeping a good social distance.

Stay safe, and don't miss this beautiful season and hunt for gorgeous autumn colors!
