As Japan starts to enter the holiday season, you’ll notice many of the country’s parks buildings and gardens are set ablaze with brilliant and elaborate illumination displays to help ring in the holiday spirit.
The Land of Rising Sun is home to many amazing tourist attractions. You may have been told to visit Kyoto and Nara, or an MWR tour may already have taken you on a trip to Mount Fuji. But here are some places I recommend that I think you'll enjoy.
Situated in the center of Honshu and a 5-hour drive from the Kanto Plain, Meiji Mura (village) in Inuyama City is a 25-acre open-air museum and theme park, home to more than 60 historical buildings built in the Meiji era (1868 – 1912).
