Heralding the arrival of spring, Ume or plum blossoms are the first of the three blooms to look out for following the New Year’s holiday. Plum trees bloom gradually and keep their blossoms for nearly a month. The wide range of varieties mean you can enjoy the blossoms from early spring around early February throughout spring until mid-April, even after the cherry blossoms have gone.
