Take in the fresh air and beautiful views of the coast without traveling far from Sasebo Naval Base.

At Kujukushima Park visitors can enjoy a beautiful location and a panoramic view of the 208 islands packed in Nagasaki’s waters. Climb up Chobo-no-Oka (hill of good view) on the large hill in green grass to reach the lookout point. The park is about a 15-minute drive from the base and is also a nice place to visit at dusk for an amazing sunset.

Near the park, Tenkaiho is a home to another attraction— 150,000 cosmos flower blossoms in bloom now. (see video:  see video)

Make plans to visit the area while the weather is nice and the cosmos are in bloom!
