Tokyo's Jindai Botanical Garden Camellia Week Mar. 14 - 19

Tokyo's Jindai Botanical Garden is home to a wide array of floral beauty, including an incredible 620 camellias comprising of 250 different types. A Camellia Week event is being held at the gardens in March – the ideal time to see these flowers at their best – which will include exhibits of potted and cut camellia flowers.
There is no additional fee to enjoy the camellia exhibit at the gardens outside the usual admission fee, which is priced at ¥500 for adults and ¥250 for children.

GETTING THERE

The Jindai Botanical Gardens can be easily accessed via public transport or private vehicle.

For those visiting via public transport, buses are available to the gardens from Chofu Station. Take the Odakyu Bus (Platform No. 12) bound for Kichijoji Station or Mitaka Station and get off at the dedicated stop for Jindai Botanical Gardens.

For those who opt to drive, the venue is around 5 minutes from the Chofu Interchange on the Chuo Expressway.
