With quick autumn season wrapping up and the fast-approaching holiday season, it’s time to enjoy the stunning beauty of the winter illuminations.

Misawa Nakayoshi Park’s Phantasia Winter Illumination started on Nov. 14 and will continue through Jan. 31, 2026.

Visitors are treated to a brilliant display of over 130,000 LED lights including illuminated reindeer and a 16-meter-tall Christmas tree.

The park opens from 5:30 p.m. to midnight for the sparkling lights, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy this holiday treat. The park is a 6-minute drive from Misawa Air Base. Don’t miss the beautiful lights this holiday season!
