Ome City sits within some of Tokyo's most beautiful natural surroundings. Not resting on these natural laurels, though, the city is also home to some good quality museums and galleries. Here is an introduction to some of the museums and galleries of Ome City and how to reach them.

Ome Municipal Museum of Art

With over 2,000 modern illustrations, ukiyo-e woodblock prints and oil paintings, the Ome Municipal Museum of Art puts up a good display of its extensive collection. Regular exhibitions keep the gallery busy while the view from the second floor terrace and cafe adds some obvious bonus points.
