Okinawa’s rainy season ends, bringing in the summer heat
This year’s rainy season is finally over on sub-tropical Okinawa.
Over the weekend, the official end was announced by the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) on June 25. The much-anticipated announcement arrived four days later than usual, and five days later than last year.
The rain is finally gone, and summer has officially started on the island!
