Japan Traditional Crafts Festival Ginza Feb. 23 - 28

Japan Traditional Crafts Festival Ginza Feb. 23 - 28
A big part of Japan's rich culture comes from the wide array of traditional arts and crafts found here, including ceramics, lacquerware, dyeing and weaving, and papercrafts. A special event taking place at Matsuya Ginza this February delves into this culture of artisanship, with around 300 examples of traditional crafts on display from across the country.
The Japan Traditional Crafts Festival Ginza will also include craftsmanship demonstrations, workshops geared towards children, and even craft-related talks (registrations are required for the latter).
There is no admission fee to attend, so if you have any interest in Japanese crafts be sure to stop by if you're in the area.
