Exhibition of Vincent Van Gogh in Ueno, Tokyo until Jan. 13, 2020

In the ten years Vincent Van Gogh spent painting, he created more than 900 visual masterpieces. However, only one of his works could be sold while he was alive but more and more people began to admire him as an artist after his death. The exhibition of Vincent Van Gogh celebrates the life of the painter, displaying 40 of his own pieces as well as 30 of some famous artists who inspired him. The exhibition will be held at the Ueno Royal Museum. The museum is open Sunday-Thursday from 9:30 am-5pm and 9:30am-8pm Friday and Saturday. (Last entry is 30 minutes before closing time).
