Drum Tao taking musical act on tour around Japan this summer

World-renowned taiko drum group Drum Tao is celebrating its 30th anniversary on tour this summer with new musical “The Tao Mugenkyo.”

Since its inception, Drum Tao has performed over 700 musicals worldwide and captured an audience of over 9 million people. This year’s tour will visit 69 cities in Japan and Drum Tao will bring its spectacular acoustics to 103 stages.

Audiences can expect traditional Japanese instruments like taiko drums, shinobue flutes and koto harps employing various elements of rock, pop, ballad and classical music as breathtaking sequences of sword fighting are performed onstage.

Many of these performances will be in close proximity to the U.S. military bases, so don’t miss a chance to enjoy Drum Tao’s beats!

Drum Tao brings the beats in the celestial heights of Oita
