Did you know?: Vending machine options are endless in Japan

There are countless vending machines throughout Japan. Items available range from canned coffee, hamburger, yakisoba and rice bowl (served hot!), beer and sake (served freezing cold), to cigarettes, tissue, underwear and condoms. Most are available 24/7, 365, but those serving adult beverages usually stop running between 11 p.m. – 5 a.m. How convenient!
