Did you know?: Just how old the Japanese live to be
People in Japan live a long time, as you likely know, but did you know the country had the highest life expectancy of 194 nations surveyed by the World Health Organization in 2016? Japanese live to a whopping average of 83.7 years old - 80.5 for men and 86.8 for women. If you’re curious, the U.S. ranked 31st at age 79.3, with men living to be 76.9 and women making it to 81.6.
