A beer fest is brewing near MCAS Iwakuni on Sept. 30, Oct. 1

Craft beer fans in Iwakuni, rejoice!

The Great Craftbeer Swindle?, a brew fest, is coming to JR Iwakuni Statoin on Sept 30 and Oct. 1.

The festival will feature dozens of ice-cold brews from in and around Yamaguchi Prefecture, with plenty of tasty foods to munch on. Head to Iwakuni City Nakadori Shopping Street and sample some of the local fare.

Admission is free but you need to purchase tickets at the ticket counter for craft beers and food. Check out the Instagram page for updated information of the craft beer event.

Tickets: Adults 4,000 yen (on the site); 3,600 yen (reservation – only 200 sets are available) for 10 tickets. 2,000 yen for 5 tickets
