Air Busan will increase the number of charter flights connecting Busan and Nagasaki, citing strong passenger demand on the route.
The airline will operate expanded charter services between Gimhae International Airport and Nagasaki Airport five times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from March 29 through April 25.
The schedule is designed for short-distance travelers who prefer morning departures.
Flights will leave Gimhae International Airport at 9:05 a.m. and arrive in Nagasaki at 10:00 a.m.
The return flight will depart Nagasaki at 11:00 a.m. and land in Busan at 12:00 p.m.
Air Busan first introduced charter flights on the route in October last year. Following strong demand, the airline expanded the service to three weekly flights starting in January.
According to the airline, the route has maintained an average seat occupancy rate in the mid-90% range since its launch, prompting the decision to further increase the number of flights.
