Pumpkin

Sancocho is a one-pot stew with chunks of tender beef (meat of your choice or no meat at all) and root vegetables. It is typically served with a side of white rice and a piece of ripe avocado.
As my sister and I were Face-timing talking about how much we’re looking forward to fall, she showed me her batch of pumpkin spice chocolate chip cookies that she had just baked. 
I love the fall season, mainly because it means pumpkins are in season and I can make some of my most favorite desserts, among them these delicious and moist pumpkin cake donuts.
