Fourteen noncommissioned officers assigned to the 35th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion were officially inducted into the NCO corps during a ceremony here Friday.
Five Soldiers assigned to the 35th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion competed in the unit’s first ever battalion-level “Best Warrior” competition Sept. 28 through Oct. 1 on Sagami General Depot and Camp Zama, Japan.
It was around noon when Sgt. Nikita Pascual learned she and her team of field cooks would, in less than 24 hours, be taking over full operation of a dining facility that feeds an average of 300 Soldiers per day.
