Misawa airmen, JASDF complete Rapid Airfield Damage Recovery pad

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan --  U.S. Air Force and Japan Air Self-Defense Force members, assigned to the 35th Fighter Wing and the 3rd Air Wing respectively, pose for a group photo during a ceremony to commemorate the completion of a bilateral Rapid Airfield Damage Recovery (RADR) pad at Draughon Range near Misawa Air Base, Japan, Nov. 29, 2022. The 35th Civil Engineer Squadron and the Northern Air Civil Engineering Group worked together to construct the pad to enhance bilateral training and increase interoperability.
